Made some progress with the Ultima. Pretty happy with it so far. I'm really glad I decided not to get rid of all the red anodizing (Thanks Lonestar). Wasn't what I had in mind at the start, but is shaping up to be something kinda cool. I still need to figure out a front bumper--I may try the smaller Andy's bumper and see how it looks. I've been playing with some kydex but haven't come up with anything I want to bolt to my car. Still need to finish detailing/painting the driver too. Figured you guys might like some fresh pics of the progress.

Thanks. It's nothing like what I had pictured in my head at the beginning but I'm pretty happy with it. I just made a kydex front bumper for it tonight. Nothing fancy. Very minimalist. As soon as I finish detailing the driver I'll get some final pics. The faded anodizing on the shocks still bothers me a little since the rest of the car is so clean and new, but I have a beautiful set on my Javelin and I may be upgrading the javelin to some option house gold shocks soon so it will all probably work out in the end.

Nice, clean build! Looking forward to what you come up with fabricating your Kydex bumper. I did that with some of my cars, too...it adds a nice personal touch. 8)

Got my driver detailed and my bumper installed. Still need to pick out an esc and throw in a receiver. Swapped out the motor to a Le Mans 240ST for now only because it matches the color scheme so well. Makes me wish this one was full size so I could get inside and go for a ride!
