Yeah that sucks. I want to like Jon, he has treated me well....and this is all before I was even around so it was a shock to me. If I could go back in time I would be a Lexy supporter but right now we don't have another option

Ok, someone want to let me in on the story about "the" body? I emailed TBG through Ebay since that was the only way I knew how.

I'm not too down on the many buggy bodies but isn't this the same body that was re released from proline?

Thanks Rob! I have given up on Hightower. I am starting to think that he wasn't supposed to have the car or he never owned it.littleVETTE wrote:looks awesome! looks like you got the paint spot on. hopefully mr. hightower could chime in on the history of the buggy.

Hey Todd, that is technically the same body, but I do not believe it is a totally accurate reproduction. All the pictures I have seen, it looks a bit different. I wanted to have the actually body that was on the car, so I went with the TBG body. Not sure what I am going to do yet, but I may keep what I have. It plays the part I guess.romulus22 wrote:I'm not too down on the many buggy bodies but isn't this the same body that was re released from proline?

Re: RC10 Factory Works MIP 93' Worlds Racer Restoration
Applied the decals. Still need to locate some American Flags. I think there is another American flag on the hood forward of the MIP's, but cannot tell for sure. I need to locate an Orion decal for the wing. Other than that, I cannot make out any of the other decals. What do you guys think? I thought the decal just below the windshield might be Pro-Line? Looks like it is at an angle, but don't know why? Actually, the more I look, it appears to have maybe a small "Team" that is just below the windshield and then "unknown" at an angle below that? Any ideas?

Re: RC10 Factory Works MIP 93' Worlds Racer Restoration
From what I hear it's a bad repro of a good repro but either way....it proved that TBG was making copies of copies. Not sure if it was a test for them or just worked out that way, but either way it proves that it was a rererere
The "funny" story part isn't funny as much as sad and disappointing....making it "funny"

Well, TBG says that they have never had any complaints about this body and that they would give me 50% off of my next purchase. That is not good enough for me.
