New kitten from a local shelter - My wife named him Tux. I’m surprised at how quickly he made friends with our 3 dogs.

I wasn’t sure if the quality of resizing would make the image disappear completely but if you zoom in or look closely, that truck is some sort of undercover police unit. There was one more just like it and an undercover Durango only sporting the alley light all headed in the same direction.

Ken, I was thinking the same, couldn't notice what was up with the pic.

Undercover squads are super heavy and come in all kinds on I-80 here in the ol' land of Lincoln. One morning heading to my previous work office a few years back, I pass an old beat-up '90s work truck with a ladder rack on the bed. When I took a gander thru the driver's window, I see a light bar across the top of the windshield, the police laptop in front of the center console and an officer in uniform. Ya never know what they'll be in.

Worst one I saw was a VW polo with an L plate , I overtook it , thought nothing of it , then a minute later it tears past me with the blue's n two's going and knicks someone else, I was both surprised and relieved.

There are several around here that look like common F-150 fleet trucks. Considering that I live in an industrial area and it's close to a major interstate, they are one of the most common vehicles around. They have their lights hidden in the trucks grills.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

Had to run out to the barn earlier and caught a grasshopper trying to put 'em on the glass. I told her that Tamiya would be ashamed of her shenanigans.

A real nice country road I take to get home being ruined by something. Used to be all woods. Luckily not too close to the house. 🙄

Ok, I'll tell you what Brian. You throw in a water slide where I land on a bar stool and I'll repeal my injunction.

That's a Katydid! They produce those trademark summer night sounds. :)

I moved into a forest setting 9 years ago, and can't believe how much of that has gone on around here in that time. :x
