RC10t from the ground up with an RC Carbon Works chassis

those rc carbon works axles essentially are just a long axle with a spacer to put between the bearing and the drive pin. The rear wheels would bolt up just like anything else on a regular axle...just out further than originally. Those are dogbone only and I would go cvd for reliability for a runner before those but thats just me.

Not bashing you on this but just an info on my end but why would you want to extend out your wheels that wide?

Had to put the project off a few weeks as a pine tree fell into our master bedroom during storms last week... fortunately everyone was safe but the house incurred loads of damage which we're in the process of sorting out with insurance!?! Mostly damage to the house... very little loss of personal property thankfully! So stay tuned - assembly coming at some point!

Random question so I can be sure - will an rc10gt bellcrank/steering kit fit an rc10t? I'm pretty sure it will but wanted a definite answer!

It will but you'll have to use them in the shorter position in the nose plate. If you use the stock GT parts no problem, if you use a MIP set up beware the bellcranks are "flipped" to opposite sides.

Yeah I've seen a few of those MIP GT kits on ebay and was curious... so they won't fit or they're just backwards?

They fit no problems, just "backwards" from the 10T bellcranks.

i.e. servo arm is on the right side instead of left.

Thanks to PerryCodes I've got a new in package nose plate coming! So I may actually start assembling stuff next week!?!

Anyone have any suggestions for for shocks now that I'm getting into actually building something? I envision the truck for large open indoor surfaces like gyms or light carpeting/turf... maybe asphalt if I'm able to get a fitted clear protective film on the bottom. There's a local Xpel shop nearby that can cut a fitted piece for me.

The more I think about the idea of a top deck the more I'm considering just getting a second carbon fiber chassis cut down to fit and leave a hole for the battery to fit into;)

Man those things are hard to come by nowadays!? I watched for like 3 months and didn't find anything without a ton of scrapes and scarring... then like 30 minutes after I decided to buy one the other immediately popped up on ebay!?!
