I was doing decent in the 2nd qualifier with it (ran the 22 in the first qualy). Transponder wasnt picking up, then the motor moved with 3 laps left, so I babied it around, still killed the spur.

Did you use the stock front block carrier on your recent build? I believe these would be at 15 degrees, correct? What did you think of the performance of the front end and steering and such with the stock blocks versus one with 25 or 30 degrees? Just curious.

RC10 CVDs, I asked for GT rear carriers, 1.5 degree and got these. They look just like them, but have 2 holes for adjustments :)

no issues, the black ones work just fine :)

Yes, I have the 15 degree carriers on there. I am going to give them a true shot on the track, but I will have a set of black 30 degree ones with me just in case. I didnt get a full pack in, motor moved and chewed up the spur. That is fixed now, so just need to get back to the track to get a set up done.

I ran the car this past weekend, gave it quite a few shake down runs, played with gearing mostly. The car handles great. I need to pull the shocks apart and verify the set up, then I will post my complete set up.

The 15 degree carriers dont seem to be hurting it all that bad (with my driving, I cant really tell).

Well that is good to hear JK. Thanks!

My build is 99% complete. Just need to take it out sometime and try it out.

Mine is almost done. I should make a post with what I have done. Just waiting on a few parts to finish it off. I can't wait to see your setup and how it differs from mine. I won't be able to hit the track anytime soon, so yours should be a good starting area for me.

I thought that if you contacted him he could specify a checkout procedure on his website whereby he would put together a set with lengths to match your application? I've never asked for a set for a short arm rc10 though.

Edit: fixed the quoted section, sorry.

I was thinking Vintage. :)
And they are finally here! 8) 8)

JK,

BTW, big fan of the rear tower space forward idea. Great move   I've always liked my rear blocks to the back position, and all I need is some old shock spacers (that run about 0.135 in. or so) placed in there, and my shocks are now perfectly 90 degrees to the anti-squat on my T2 blocks. Awesome! I even have big bore springs on the shocks. Like butter! 8)

The front arms are NOT whitened, nor brand new, they are used and scratched up on the bottom. That was just elbow grease and simple green, with a grout scrubber!

update from last night:

what gearing are you using with that 17.5?
