I'd put that ball link on the back side of the servo saver

Re: RC10 B-Stamp Resurrection.
Woo! Another update.
I cant resist anymore...I trimmed the body and got it mounted, along with the wing. (I LOVE the green Lundsford stickers.) Body is a Turbo Mirage, wing AE Large.

Basic Layout of Electronics. Still need to get wire for the ESC, and Servo. May or May not use my Traxxas 2.4 system. Can you dye the shell of the Novak Black?

Put on a 88 tooth, 48 pitch lightweight spur from Parma. Pinion is a 23t, which equals out to a 3.82 gear ratio. Which is my normal ballpark for a brushed setup. Gear mesh is a bit tight, will have to modify motor plate and possibly chassis. Still trying to figure out how many turns this Lightspeed Motor is. I'm worried about desoldering the resistors to open it up. I really need to find someone with experience to do all my electrical gear. As I'd rather not "learn" on this.

Re: RC10 B-Stamp Resurrection.
This probably won't help but I received one of the Litespeed motors with an ebay parts car a few months ago. I have no experience with this particular motor (probably released during my RC AWOL period post '94) but my copy has a sticker marked "14 turn Quad".
Also, I don't know if the Novak case can be dyed but I'm sure that it could be painted.
Like I said, not much help.
The 6-gear is 1.83:1 ratio so with your spur and pinion you have 7.01:1 final drive ratio.

Nice work trimming and mounting the body. Maybe put an add in the Wanted Section for your wiring/soldering work?

If I had 2 years to wait and do that, I gladly would. But sadly i wouldn't qualify to even view that area of the forum until August of 2020.NomadRacer wrote: ↑Sat Jun 30, 2018 7:39 am Nice work trimming and mounting the body. Maybe put an add in the Wanted Section for your wiring/soldering work?

Re: RC10 B-Stamp Resurrection.
Okay, But if I need to take this down, I gladly will, as I dont want to break any rules.
I need to find someone who can solder new Batt/Motor wires on the Novak, along with new receiver/powerswitch. I'd also love to find someone to do a once over on the motor and solder it, or atleast label which bits go to which wires.

Re: RC10 B-Stamp Resurrection.
So, you need some nice wire (red, black, blue) for the ESC and motor. Personally, I use TQ Wire. https://tqwire.com/rc-products/
Do you have a new or positively good switch to use?

Re: RC10 B-Stamp Resurrection.
Due to Finacial conflicts between my hobbies, I'm having to sell this and all parts. Wish I could keep it, but I think a real car is a bit more important and practical transportation to school then an RC one.

Re: RC10 B-Stamp Resurrection.
Wow, that's sorta unfortunate for us. This was an interesting build.
I actually stumbled upon this thread today and was wondering when you were going to post an update.
Maybe you'll pick up another RC10 again some day.

Re: RC10 B-Stamp Resurrection.
Hopefully. It'll be after I finish my bagged S10 however, as air ride parts definitely aren't cheap.

I certainly can relate. I also have a 1:1 project that's needing some attention.

Re: RC10 B-Stamp Resurrection.
It's official. I'm nuts. Insane. Bananas. Heck, In reality I'm just bored.
So here's what I have mocked up so far. Beat up B stamp, old bulkhead, noseplate, and motor mount.

I'm really diggin' the purple bulkhead, I may make this car Purple. Cause imagine how sore someone would be after getting beat by a Purple RC10 that spins all fours in Open 4WD Buggy.
Reality:
Plans are to mill some parts of the chassis, cut down the side plates, close some of the spare holes (low-heat TIG?), and figure out what to run suspension wise. Power will most likely be some form of Trackstar Brushless, combo'd with some 2s LiPos. Should run pretty decent, but that is TBD.
