Labor Day Plans??(4 years later)
Labor Day weekend marks the end of my busy season at work so it's one of my favorite holidays. I can now spend the next 8 and a half months whiling away my days at work on the internet. It actually gets pretty boring. Anyway, I usually spend the weekend on my back deck with a little Sublime playing, a nice r/c to stare at, a nice refreshment and a 26oz Porterhouse sizzling on the grill. Notice the vintage koozie... What's everyone doing??

Re: Labor Day Plans??
We have no special plans. We're so far behind in our projects that we'll likely be working most of the day.

Re: Labor Day Plans??
(1) cleaned the bathroom
(2) vacuum the pool in prep for closing it next week
(3) meet fellow racer to sell him a stadium truck
(4) conveniently meet that racer in front of a LHS and spend the money from said deal
(5) pick up more branches from my yard (still waiting on insurance company for tree removal)
(6) bike ride with the family
(7) cousins coming over for dinner (bbq)
(8) meet parents on their way home from the beach (as my kids forgot their library books there on Saturday)
(9) finish floor plans for 2 clients (and maybe a septic design for another) after the kids are in bed
(10) get back to my VONats Hotshot that I finally started last night!
(11) try to get 4 hours of sleep before starting my official work week again

Nope, not I, I am sitting in the WAR room right now (and no I don't have a WAR room at home). I need to get out of here soon before I piss the wife off too much today.

Not much has changed over the years. Labor Day still marks the beginning of a major 8 month slow down at work, and I'm still grillin' up huge hunks of meat all weekend. A 1/2 pound of ground chuck and 3oz of pepper jack on a toasted bun with all the fixin's. Hellllloooo good life!

Was back at the outdoor track yesterday with my son, me running the RC8Be and him with his rpm-ized Slash.
Ended up losing a few fasteners on the RC8 so I ordered a lot of spares from amain last night. Damn I love 4wd 8th scale badass-ness.
