That is sooooo sweet of a ride. I cant believe my eyes I had a couple of the front shock struts and cut them up. what a dummy I am. I also have a couple composit rear wings cut to fit if ya want one. its called a Twinn-K airfoil. LMK Johnny
I would start with 20* blocks flipped left to right, that will give you 5* of caster, depending on how much steering you want you might have to use a dremel on the caster block to clear the sterring knuckle at full lock.
I just got back from trying to reverse the castor blocks, but didn't have any luck.
Maybe it's a combination of the parts I'm using (short arms, inline spindles & possibly 30-degree blocks), but it's physically impossible to switch the blocks because the spindles hit the A-arms. Maybe a different degree block would solve the problem, but all mine are the same degree. I could possibly remove a portion of each arm, but I'll just annoy everyone with my wicked camber.
I came upon this buggy yester sitting in someones basement, it had been mostly died black. I decided to turn this into my main racer and black is the theme. The six speed went and the fresh rebuild and dyed stealth is no in it. All white will be...

So I’ve just about wrapped up the design phase of this project with just one or two small details yet to sort out. Here's where the design stands at the moment...

Thanks for the compliments guys. I’m not sure I would call it “awesome”; I’m hoping to save the awesome stuff for the replica. But thanks again for the kind words. :D
No CNC here, just a drill press, coping saws, files, etc. -- just common hand...

Stealth Fighter was my race body back in the day, the tight fit makes it really nice when using velcro to mount the body. Plus no dirt gets inside the tub. I would definately buy one if someone reproed these... hint hint mrlexan  :D
New member here. I recently went to my parents to help empty their ground floor as they live on the Jersey Shore and are having their house raised. Unfortunately they had a good amount of damage due to Hurricane Sandy and one of the...

I believe the B2 idler does not fit.
you should not need grease in the stealth if you are running stock gears, just the clear in the diff, black on the thrust.
if you are finding that there is a bind every rotation, I would think it's the top...
There are different RC10 4WD conversions in the past.....but the prices are terribly high which I am not able to afford any one of them now......so I decided to build my own one instead...... :)

First i had to say is that it's not a resto project.
When i started racing in 90's i got a RC10 team car issue that i really loved, but i was dreaming of something else... so about 20years after i started to do build this car:
ok...my last rc10 project. i had some parts left from the last project, so i am going to make a car i dont mind driving. flat black pan, nose and motor plate, black wheels, plastic and a black body. calling it a six gear stealth.

A nice paint job on that Bug will be sweet! I think that Bug bodies on a RC10 chassis are one of the nicest looking cars out there. The Sand Scorcher is dead sexy, but just can't stand up to an RC10's great handling!
