New RC10 original Mint never run.

Post by obsidian »

Hello everyone,

Just thought I'd share one of my few rarities with all of you: It has mostly been built but obviously never ran. Everything is original and from the same kit. It has been sitting in storage for ages. The only parts I've misplaced is 1 front spring, original body and original wing. It was given to me by the original owner who never took the initiative to finish building it or enjoying it. Unfortunately the box and manual were never given to me but no big loss, it's the car that counts. Also, I've included some pics of some associated paper work; can't exactly remember what motor some of it was for though. Personally, I've never seen a new and original one ever. So, for all you RC10 fans here you go, Enjoy!

Seems like a shame to have to cut the gear cover, looks so beautiful uncut.

Here are a couple of my rarities I wanted to share with you also. Can't decide if I like the older style white parts or the newer black ones...
I added a couple of pics of a Team car that's never seen daylight or dirt. I really like the white parts on the black chassies for SURE!

It might be blasphemy, but I will always vote black! Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the pristine white of a well preserved RC10, but I still love black parts on any car. For whatever my opinion is worth... Great cars all around! 8)

Great looking cars Lexus-5, IMO I prefer the gold chassis with the white parts. But the black chassis look s great with either white or all black.

I like your collection, keep the pics coming.

Might not fit in this string....but then again it might, Associated CE with 4WD MIP conversion never seen dirt or daylight...what ever happened to the talk about re-releasing a 4WD kit?
