All Graphite 6030 Graphite
All Graphite 6030 Graphite
This is my 6030 6 gear graphite that I purchased a couple years ago new in opened box. As you can see I added a couple hop up parts that I feel fit this car well. The front and rear shock towers are both Composite Craft that were NIP as well as the rare? CC motor plate. I also found the Factory Works battery brace NIP at the bottom of a bin in a LHS. I think it goes good with the CC parts.
Pics aren't the best and I realized after taking them the whole car needs a good cleaning. Maybe I'll pull it apart when im laid up next month. Hope you like it!

Re: All Graphite 6030 Graphite
Very nice, I didn't know that CC made a motor plate. First time I have seen one.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

I should have the header card somewhere. I'll see if I can dig it up.

Re: All Graphite 6030 Graphite
Can anyone find the flaw on the car? Im sure there are a few build flaws but this one came from AE. Im looking to correct it if anyone has a good one!

Re: All Graphite 6030 Graphite
maybe that trans/bulkhead support?
I would put some nice big flat washers behind the heads of the motor screws, to prevent mangling up the carbon fiber; this way the screw head doesn't grind into it.

Re: All Graphite 6030 Graphite
bass ackwards stealth tranny brace.
front upper spring collars are not in the same position as the rear.
no servo to steering tie rod.
side to side line line on the chassis under the battery.
and your e-clips are not all facing the same direction!
good looking car. didn't somebody make a carbon "shelf bracket" to mount an electric speed controller on the rear tower?

Nope, not the brace. That was something I added.
The motor screws are really loose to avoid that but I will add washers. Good idea!

Re: All Graphite 6030 Graphite
whelp unless you are talking about the little spot that looks like it could be a chip of a crack at the hole that intersects that side to side line that runs under the battery you got me stumped.

Re: All Graphite 6030 Graphite
the Reedy motor seems too modern to match with the car...........

Re: All Graphite 6030 Graphite
Thats actually a fiber sticking up off the surface. There are a few of them on the chassis and I was going to trim them off when I built it but then I thought they are only there once. When new!LowClassCC wrote:whelp unless you are talking about the little spot that looks like it could be a chip of a crack at the hole that intersects that side to side line that runs under the battery you got me stumped.
minimini you are correct, it is the wrong era motor but still not what I was looking for.
I thought this would be easy for you guys!

Re: All Graphite 6030 Graphite
the only thing i see is that you have 3 left side shock collars, and one right. other than that, i don't see any flaws. nice car dude.
