Body mount question need help
did anyone ever make a 90 deg body mount for onroad cars? to come off the chassis and go into the doors? it is so hard to mount any body that looks like a real car I dont want a toj style. the tall mounts always seem to hit the windows. I just got a 1/12 Bolink greenwood vette and it has dinples in the doore for were to drill for mounts?

Re: Body mount question
not sure about a 90 degree bend. I want to say that some used straight body mounts (like bumper mounts) but attached horizontally to the body.

I know that the B44 uses rear truck mounts on the side to attach to the side of the body. You could combine those with the longer front body posts to get the desired length.

I've used the following combo on the rear of my truck to fit an Andy's Hummer body.

Re: Body mount question need help
thats what I have come up with, I think this was made for a digger chassis like you pictured. I may just drill my cross brace to move them in to hit the roof. I didnt want to but my have to. Thanks
