Option House motors
These two motors are brand new, I have no idea when or where or how I ended up with them.
I must say that they are the most beautifully made motors I have ever seen, the machined cans are awesome.

I have a couple of those Kyosho Lemans motors, they are indeed little works of art. I have a 480 Gold (gold anodized aluminum endbell) that's freshly rebuilt, a 360 ST and a 360 Gold that I was given by a friend many years ago, but discovered he didn't include the endbell for it. I want to rebuild that 360 Gold too...just waiting to score an endbell and the retaining ring, I have all the rest.
The "better" versions of the Lemans motors had aluminum endbells instead of plastic, such as the 360/480 Gold and 240 SB.

I use to race a lot of Kyosho Motors.
Back than we raced for 6 min with 4wd mod. So motor effeciancy was very important not to dump.
My first was a Le Mans 480T i think 25t x 1.
480S 23t x 1
480 Gold 25x4
480WS 24x4
240WS 18x2
240 S 19x1
240SB 19x2
600E 30x1
The SPA motors were the flagship motor being the first production motor with "WET" pressed magnets. They claimed to have superior accellation & top speed due to this new process. Really didn't make much differance. If you thought so it was more due the one wind less on the arm. The WET magnets was a process of pressing the magnets in the can first than charging them. I don't think there was any other motor company that used a seperate alloy front plate that was held in the can by tiny little grub screws. This was to concertrate the magnetic flux in the can only. Tamiya Did with theirs but that was all.
Funny when I tryied a Tamiya Technigold it out performed any Kyosho motor i had.
I think 21tx1 it was by far the most punchy and efficiant motor . I think around 88% efficancy.
I agree Kyosho motors was the best looking motors out. Im sure Trinty used their cans in the begining.

I remember running a 240ST in my "monster truck" dirt oval. Nobody knew what wind it was, so the race director say ST must mean stock. Needless to say, I dominated Stock Monster Truck for a while with it. Eventually I gave up stock and went mod, the Kyosho motor went in the box and I dropped in my Fav - Twister Gold labeled 13X3.
Great looking motors, they will be the jewel hanging off the end of any build.

I used to drool over Le mans motors as a kid. They just looked cool. Even in the old 80's Kyosho catalogs they presented them like they were pieces of art. Always wanted a gold can with a gold chassis'd Optima. Sweet!
