Recently picked up this old girl. Looking to tear it down and tidy it up for the shelf.

That looks like a bit of a creampuff Jason. Is this the one you're going to attempt to dye?

Yes. I currently have all the red parts in a tub of bleach (it seems to bring back the vibrancy of the red in my other Zerda) and I might see how it looks built up with all the red parts again. If Im still not happy I'll dye the red parts black.
I'll update again soon.

Yeah the Zerda is a way cool looking racer from back when I was first introduced to off road racing. Very few were still being run when I started though and even my Optima was supersceded by the Turbo optima soon to be followed by the first of the Mids.
Good old days

Hopefully you paid less than the guy selling the new-built Zerda for almost $800 on eBay. :)

Check 'er out, bormac...I kinda doubt it's worth anywhere close to this, especially in the already-built and corroded condition it's in, but who knows? I think he's just dreaming and needs a pinch.
