YZ-834B - Anything missing?

Post by Northy2 »

I've got this that I'd like to make as original as possible

Can anyone spot anything wrong or missing? It might be in the big box of parts and almost 2 complete other cars that I also have

Thanks,

G

Isn't this a 834A actually? Not a n expert on this ,but the B should have 2 rearshocks, while the A has only one; like yours.

I guess I'm wrong: maybe it's 834-B for the mono-shock rear and 834-C for the dual shock?

Mr Ed. I'm pretty sure the first car was an 834b Wonder Dog Fighter. There were running changes from what I've read. There are far better educated people on these cars on this site that could tell you more.

never heard of 834A or 834C. the first shipment from Japan was '84. and new gears came here at '85. then dual shock version at '85 or '86 as far as I remember. they were YZ-834B always. early mono shock version was Dog Fighter. and the later dual shock version was Wonder Dog Fighter . all they had same top deck which had YZ-834B engraved

this wikipedia page was written by me a year ago. and I hope this might be a help. correct me if I put wrong info on this

That car looks very complete to me. I'm pretty sure the body should mount under the roll cage tho.
