Nice, even as you're snapping back, you sneak in your spam link to eBay. You could've just saved yourself the hassle and cuff upside 'da head by reading the rules first.amanaman wrote:Ok,will do tonight.Thanks.

it always amazes me that the first forum you see on this site is the one that gets looked at the least.
maybe i should rename it "LIVE NUDE GIRLS........ CLICK HERE".

Dude, people here definitely "know value" ...
... but if everyone registered and immediately posted links to eBay items and/or pics of boxes of stuff asking what they were worth, it would totally kill the site. It would add like 4-5x the number of posts for the admins to monitor, and no one wants to read those posts anyway. I know you are trying to "avoid the headache" of listing a box of stuff that you don't want on eBay, but you are just asking everyone else to assume the headache of figuring out your problem for you, and that ain't right either.
They don't ask much, but the "how much is it worth question" is particularly taboo.

Re: nothing to see
"Disturbing" us isn't the point. The point is that there are certain rules on this site that others don't have. There are also very good reasons for these rules being in place, mainly to help build a community of people that are passionate about vintage stuff. It's not just a drop in and unload your vintage stuff hoping to make a buck site. If you're offended by that, then I don't really know what to say. In case you change your mind about selling, why don't you post your cars.

Well said adam! I think the vets here on the forum and the newbs will learn that those rules work quite well here. Everyone whom lasts really loves this place (as do I). Stick around and contribute you might be surprised.adam lancia wrote:The point is that there are certain rules on this site that others don't have.
