A fantastic place to be

Post by Synergy »

I just want to say what a fantastic community this is :D I had somehow forgotten what a great bunch of members this site has  which has been reconfirmed since my return with the number of offers of help and actual assistance I have received  I've made some unbelievably good deals and actually been given stuff that I needed for free, this just doesn't happen on most other forums especially those vintage RC related.

As many of you appreciate it's very difficult being a collector of American products on this side of the pond due to the communication problems relating to the time zone issue, the horrendous shipping charges and the additional tasks associated with international shipping, so I simply couldn't have the collection I have without your help :D

I'm not going to name any of you (you know who you all are) you've made it a great experience getting back into this hobby and I hope I can return the kindness sometime in the future

Many thanks.
Experience is that marvelous thing that enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.

I have a lot of experience with message boards. Owning them, operating them, etc... for many years now so I've pretty much seen it all. I'd just like to say that this one truly has the best community of members I have ever been part of.

Couldn't agree more about the forum. Only one outside of my home track that I visit anymore. Great content and great people. :D

All this talk of raining in the house brings to mind the Episode of Married With Children where Al Bundy wears his golf shoes on the roof to keep from falling off and at the end it rains and his roof is full of holes. A classic sitcom that goes great with this forum...
