My Slightly Moded Hot Shot. Not S/Shot!!!!!!!!

Post by Mad Racer »

Well i have had this for a while now.

I have 2 restored Hot Shot 2's and moded Super Shot. So i wanted this Hot Shot to be different .

It's a Re re with a Rc Channel full metal upgrade arms and their shock kit was ordered as well.

Alloy sway bar supports replaced the fragile GRP ones.

DF03 white wheels with losi rubber got the go.

A S/Shot under tray was grafted on as well.

I have just installed a EZ Run 13t combo for crisp performance . The new suspension brings the chassis performance up alot and the 13t seems just right. I would like to put in a Top Force steering cranks like my S/Shot

Next up is uni's all round. Than some running.

When you run it, let me know what you think of that EZRun 13T, I've been eyeing that setup for a while, the one with the 60A ESC.

Marc i have over 10 ,13t combo's in my vintage runners.

After a lot of testing these are simply brilliant .

In the Tamiya Shot's it is a well matched set up. I have one in my BIG WIG, Boomerang, S/Shot. With a 16t pinion they are great. But like all motors/ Tracks gearing will vary but you will be in the gearing range. Took me a long time to come up with a brushless motor to match the internal ratio/ pinion choice of the shots.

Mine is the 35amp ESC with Fan. Haven't track tested it yet but should be fine. A 60amp would be better in the shot but not needed really. The price of these EZ Runs are so cheap on the Bay

GEE

I never knew they don't make the arm kit anymore . How long ago did they stop it???????????

I do remember it wasn't cheap though . Nearly as much as the Hot Shot it self..

No wonder the H.P Kit is in high demand.
