Mid East outdoor get together/ discussion
I'll post some progress pics of the track but here is the skinny- I have a medium sized natural terrain/surface outdoor track at our house, nice mix of fast and tight sections perfect for 2wd/4wd buggies an trucks with 27t stock or 17.5 motors.
I keep hearing how all our vintage RC10 racers/runners should be on a track like we ran as kids, so here is a chance to have an outdoor " race ". We can have a meeting here for free, with food and prob some door prizes from some sponsors, or we can have an actual race with a fee ( to borrow a friend and his amb system ).
The track likes Jconcepts groovy fronts and goosebumps in the rear for 2wd, Jconcepts flipouts or goosebumps in the front and goosebumps in the rear for 4wd, and Jconcepts Carver fronts and goosebumps or bowties in the rear for trucks. Any step pin like Losi ifmar pins work too. Also we will work the surface no matter what, so original RC10 tires would work too-
I'm thinking a 2 day event like Sat/Sun at the end of March- if we have rain on "race" day we can go to the local (1 1/2 hr) indoor track for Saturday racing and I'm sure I can work out something with the owner about fees.
Let me know if anyone is up for a get-together in Sunny Warm North Carolina!

yes it does.
Would we be able to get tickets to see the 'World's Car Museum' I hear that is down in that area
.
I like the area and would like to visit the state where I received my first head injury and stiches in

That's a pretty good haul for me, but it would be fun to come down there and spank that ass! And maybe after that we could race some radio controlled cars.

I think I'll leave that one alone. Its sound fun I think thats about 8 hours or so away for me. I'm not sure what my wife would think about the whole ass spanking thing thoughTHEYTOOKMYTHUMB wrote:That's a pretty good haul for me, but it would be fun to come down there and spank that ass! That's a tough one, Reg. It'd sure be nice to play outside after all the indoor activities up here in the cold North. Perhaps 1 day inside, 1 day outside for a "King Of The Terrain" challenge?

Re: Mid East outdoor get together/ discussion
I am down with two conditions, 1. only if Brian brings Scr8p AND 2. only if Scr8p runs an Ultima.
The bike series schedules have been published yet, so that might influence a final decision as well.... typically March is early enough in the season where it shouldn't be a problem. There is one in TN that I know is in March, just don't know when yet.

I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.
