i found a new in bag MIP tranny part at a hobby store today, i believe it is for a rc10 tranny since it was in a box with a ton of old NIP 6 gear tranny parts, but it is definetly not part of a 6 gear tranny.
it was $16 i think, it is a White nylon diff gear, with holes in the middle like the current stealth diff's for small diff balls, but it was approx half the width/gear surface. never seen a part like that, is it worth picking up for me? should i pick up the rest of the old nip 6 gear tranny stuff?
they also had a BUNCH of 48p Thorp 6 gear tranny parts NIP, dont know how popular they ever were etc, any ideas?

Re: Mip tranny parts question
Dude, if it's old grab it. Even at the package retail price you should be able to recoup on the stuff you don't need.
I have never left old inventory behind at an old hobby shop if I have the bread. And even if I don't I've made the leap...
The pile of stuff I've gotten that I won't ever use is insignificant compared to the things that I will use. And if you're good with describing things by doing some homework, you'll do ok flipping the not needed items.
We ALL need stuff that's hiding in LHS's not near us. It's cheaper to pay a slightly inflated price than driving around BFE in most cases. Or getting in a bidding war on the 'bay, if you're cool enough to give the BST here a shot for a week or two before 'baying stuff.
I have a small ton of stuff that has come from ebay bulk buys and LHS scouring that will end up in the BST for at least a few weeks before I pay ebay seller's fees. As of this date I've NEVER sold an RC10 part on ebay.
Only because I love you all!
