I thought you were joking at first, second guessed myself so I did a lot of looking around. Turns out almost every picture I found has the body mount there. But....... I then came across this picture and had to do some close looking but its not like all the other pictures I was looking at.

ok, so not on every worlds car.

but definately after the ae worlds bellcranks were added to the kits. even bought sparately, the worlds steering bellcrank kit comes with one 1/2" and one 7/8" screw so you have a place for the body mount.

One thing bad about having the body mount there is it tends to cockeye the body to the right side. I tried putting it in the front nose section but makes putting on the body next to impossible, so you really don't have a choice. :|

Check my first worlds car in my gallery  And, if we're going to be that exact- you better find the Composite Craft front tower and Bellcranks :P

I'll be honest and say I had never paid attention and noticed a body post In that location before. I thought USA-1 just stuck it there so it didn't get lost while he acquired a screw for it to be put in the nose plate. After SCR8P mentioned it being a worlds car thing I looked and believed it. I just still don't see how the body would mount well with that tall of a post mounted that high above the chassis. anyone have a picture of the body mounted on the tall post in that position? It looks like the front end would be way up there.

Thiswas a common way to mount the body but really most used velcro on the tub sides

Once I cleaned up the body more and removed the nut and just use the post the body straighten out, you could also used the shorter post just have to remove more material.

That actually fits on there perfect. I just couldn't picture it in my head. It's nice your body was clear I thought the bodies were lower than that in the nose.
