RC10 3s lipo battery fitment?
That will fit the original RC10 with no mods to the cups or any mods for that matter? I can't seem to find any with a 134mm length.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: RC10 3s lipo battery fitment?
Are there any 2s lipos that will fit side to side without the battery cups?
Re: RC10 3s lipo battery fitment?
turnigy 4000 hard cases can squeeze in there, but your best bet is to ditch the front cup and get something like a pure tech battery strap, it's still a squeeze but it's better.
side to side without cups the 4000 turnigy's should fit fine, i'll try tonight and let you know.

I checked that battery on ebay and the dimensions are right but I'm not paying $30+ to have it shipped.

I believe this will fit for much less. Check my dims though because I'm pretty dim myself...

EDIT: That's the 2s, but I'm quite sure they make a 3s that will fit in that same pack. I'm too lazy to find it so I'll leave it to you. You'll find a 3s on that site that will fit for much less though.

I'd just cut the back off the battery cup. At least that way you don't have to wreck the chassis by drilling holes in it. Then just use a piece of double sided tape or Velcro in the cup to keep the battery from sliding forward. You can also glue a piece of foam to the servo post to prevent the battery from moving forward instead.

I ordered the Venom battery above. It will fit perfect at 133mm and it's a 3s.I might have to cut the battery cup where it rests against the tub.

Just curious, what ESC/Motor setup do you have? I now mine with a 10.5 and a 2s is crazy fast, cannot wait to hear a report once you take a test run with the 3s.
Note: Do not plug in a 3s LiPo balance plug if you still have a 2s wired and plugged in. Unless you want some extra smoke in your work area.

Make sure you kiss your RC10 good-bye before you take it on it's first pass. It will either melt or be demolished on impact... possibly both. It's just too much for that light of a car. It is fun for a split second though.PTModIT wrote:CC Mamba Max Pro 5700
