Next Runner Project
okay...I find this very odd for myself. Growing up racing, I ran everything BUT an RC10, I resisted. I ran a Blackfoot in the truck class, Ultimas and JRX2's, never owned an AE product at all. Fast forward 20 years...I now own 2 & 1/2 RC10s, a B4 & T4, lol, and only 1 Losi, a XX4 original, not rerelease, and both the new K cars, my 2wd & 4wd race cars.
Anyways....I am building a trailing arm car as a runner/racer, and decided to start tossing together a 6 gear runner. As I was cleaning the car up, it is pretty beat up, but still very useable. Maybe this one will live life as a stock class racer, it feels pretty light with that graphite chassis. The trailing arm car is destin to become a lipo/brushless monster...

Looks nice Joey. Man, you sure are building a lot of cool stuff up to be runners! Do you run at pegasus on Saturdays? I been going once in awhile and was thinking we could meet up and show off some old skool stuff
Old school racing all the way!

Re: Next Runner Project
I attempt to go, but make it rarely. I ran the JBRL series this year, and that was taxing. With my job, I cant get out during the week, and on the weekend, 3 kids, house for sale, it goes on and on. So many projects, so little time. It is easy to carve out a 1/2 hour to work on my RC stuff, but hard to take 4~5 hours to go racing.
I plan on running at Pegasus or SoCal once these cars are done, this one is so much closer to completion than the trailing arm car. Adjust the steering, trans/bulkhead brace, electronics, tires, body.

Re: Next Runner Project
Nice stuff you have there and a very interesting chassis. Have you fionished this buggy and taken it racing? Do you have any shots of it on the run so to speak?

Re: Next Runner Project
Still collecting the last bit & bobs (sorry, love that term, had to steal it) for it and 3 other projects (arent we all?). I need to order a Viper for it too, maybe a Protech, still deciding.
"My" racing season is over (according to the wife), but I will get some action shots of it in the back yard when done. I am sure my son will be more than happy to drive while dad takes some pictures.
To finish this one...
Wing Kit (need to order)
Tires (for the 2.2 wheels I already have)
Body (need to order)
Figure out which electronics I am going to use (already have)
