Dad sent me his Rc10 last week. I am finally getting around to sharing the car with you. I do have the original tires and wheels. The body has been cut but not painted. It needs to be cleaned up little, hopefully I can save the body. I probably buy a new body for his car and use the old body for a runner. I have alredy ordered a set of 2.2 aluminum stock styled wheels for the car. I really wanted the stock size aluminum wheels but figured if I found them I would have to mortgage house.
Be forewarned, I am terrible at keeping up on build threads, but I am going to do my best to keep this up. The plan is to print this out and give it to my Dad with the car---
A little background
My earliest memory of an RC car is my Dad's RC10....

I remember playing and wrecking this care when I was seven 30 years later I have a seven year old and decided him how to drive RC cars so I'm updating the electronics that stoped working for now. Here is a pic from before I took any original parts...

That cleaned up nicely! These cars are so much fun as brushless runners!
I recently purchased a Cadillac rc10 with box. Someone started to build it,had it 80% done, then quit. It's brand new,but I have one concern. The nose plate and motor plate are lighter in color than the chassis. The chassis borderllines on a deep...
I finally gave in...

ohhhhh one more this i found a use for the old bracers that held the steering rod together . you know the cheap 2 bar system that hooked the servo to the steering. i took the bracers and used them on the front axles instead of the lock nuts that...
I just aquired an original complete A stamp car (no wheels or body) and another A stamped chassis tub.

Scored this the other day. I've had a lot of RC10's but have never hung onto them for that long. I guess I have always been looking for one new in the box and I felt I got this one at a good price. I will probably paint the body as a box art replica...

I was thinking maybe I'll paint up the body and shelf it. Then try to find a new build for display. For some reason I just don't know if I can pull myself to build it. I really envy those that have NIB kits. I'm hoping one day ALL of my collection...
