Nice lot there. I love a good bulk buy
Dead nitro fuel works good for removing paint in small applications like a bled thru line. handy to keep a small amount around IMO

Re: just snaged a huge bulk buy time for some rebuild thread
lol yea the only real reason i grabbed the lot is the blue tb chassis gt lol
i have been tryng to get a parts tub chassis gt for some time now for my buggy conversion
but every one has been in fully working complete order (i hate to tear down a runner )
but with this lot i now should have what i need
the next debate is do i do the buggy on the blu tub or start from scratch with the bare black tub that came in this lot

I built nitro buggy back in the day out of my old GT and CE. Turned out really nice and looked like it would have been built from a kit. Been wanting to build another but I keep finding things I want more. Looks like you have plenty of donor peices to get you started.

well starting separating the ready to run from the needs work stuff and i noticed there was some gear lash on the blue tub chassis gt
i looked closer and there is no motor mount adjustment on this chassis
the black tubs i have and the newer blue flat pans all are slotted so you can adjust the motor position
was the blue tub chassis a factory part or was it an aftermarket hop up

I was eyeballing that A-main chassis. One on my list to own one day.
Is that gold or a hard anodizing color?

Associated made one, and so did a few other companies. The associated one was an exact copy of the black tub except for the color, and as far as I can tell the aftermarket ones were also just re-anodized ae tubs. I don't know of any chassis that didn't have the adjustment built in.discgolfer72 wrote:well starting separating the ready to run from the needs work stuff and i noticed there was some gear lash on the blue tub chassis gt

I never saw anything but natural and hard anodized....romulus22 wrote:I was eyeballing that A-main chassis. One on my list to own one day.

I am pretty sure that is the normal color for that chassis. All of the ones that I have seen (that weren't natural) are that color.

the other real gem in that lot is that blue engine mount. imo they were the best thing for them old tub chassis'. eliminated the flex under and around the engine mount which killed spurs and bent engine mount brackets.
