I thought I'd bring this back. I have a couple dozen Airs truck bodies. Has anyone ever found a parts list from S&K telling what each body goes to? Mine appear to be RC10T bodies but it looks like the wheelbase would be too short so I'm not sure. There is a part number molded on the back of each one. I don't know it off the top of my head though. I'd just like to find out for sure what they were meant to go to. These were the bodies that were included with the Raborn Invencer XT-10 kits.
I just checked my S&K LX-T AIRS body and the part number is SKLX24. It looks different than the SKTA21, which I'm almost certain is for the 10T.
The wheelbase does look distorted but it's because the wheel openings are small and fit the truck like a glove. Here's one on my oval 10T and I think the openings were trimmed even larger by the previous owner:
That pic of the guy about to throw that car makes me smile. Also reminds me of a guy that raced at our local track when I was in highschool. We called him "Fish" because he was the regional manager for Captain D's. He had the worst temper of anyone I've ever raced around. He was famous for throwing his cars against the wall leaving them in total destruction if they didn't perform to his liking. The hobby shop owner loved him! He was a great guy though. He never mouthed off to anyone. Just got mad at his cars. Great racer too. I'd love to run into him somewhere and see if he still has his collection. I'm sure they'd all need a few parts replaced though! I like the paint on that body in the ad.

I should make a mold of mine and then start selling against him for $5 cheaper! Then again I've got over two dozen originals that would go first. I also have the forced air tunnel for them.
To me, the quintessential RC10 aftermarket body, and the single item I'd like to find the most in new condition. I had my sights on one last year on eBay and fell asleep at the wheel and missed it. I'm still kicking myself. If another one pops up,...
This body came with a RC10T that I picked up from cline hoobbies. Any info on who made it ? Are they still availible? Its has seen better days but I like the looks of it. No cracks in it I so I might try the brake fuild to remove the paint and see...

That is the Dahm's Slammer Body. I used this body back in the mid nineties. I still get compliments on it today as it is much different than the bodies of today. I believe they also made a Slammer XL with an extended cab window, etc.
Now finished after a few mishaps my rc10t i still cant find a body or decals well for a reasonable price so i went with a t4 body. This looks nice but not what i want. Is this the team version with the hardened shocks??

+1 on the T2 body. The T4 looks too T4 for me.....
Do not buy the vintage T2 bodies off ebay (unless they go cheap of course). You can still get them from Associated or anywhere that stocks their stuff.
As the title says: is it or is it not an rc10T body?
I found it in my LHS which I don't believe ever sold anything asso. But it looks real close to my unexperienced eye.
It has a blueish overspray film and no mention of brand or model anywhere....

I just stumbled on this old thread while searching Google. Did anyone ever figure out what body this is? This reminds me of the tower hobbies st15 body, exact same body as the 6131 original gt body, but with body post dimples in the non-associated...
Hi Everyone.
Dug out my old RC10 truck conversion from 30 years ago and was thinking of getting a new body since the old one has cracks.
This is what the current body looks like - I prefer this style with the sloped/smooth back and can't seem to...

Ah... okay. Thanks for the tip. Will have to keep an eye out but sounds like it's not easy to find.
