Third Party Chassis...

Post by rooster »

I'm starting this thread to help me identify all these aftermarket chassis that I've used to builld these RC10L/S variants.

I know most guys think there from "Composite Craft", but I have to believe that there were other manufactures out there back in the day.

Image

OK, here's the first variant, who made it?

Here's a third type, please note the similarities with the second chassis...

However, I have been told these are Composite Craft chassis.

Someone please verify.

Here's the next ones.

These are probably Composite Craft, I just need someone to verify.

Yeah CC Ground Effects chassis. I think the first two chassis you posted in the OP are CC as well.

I'm Starting to figure out that back in the day Composite Craft was one of the most active manufacture of aftermarket parts.

Everybody says that this is also made from a Composite Craft chassis...

OK, here's my last one...

This chassis is identical to the chassis above except the cut-out below the front suspension is not the normal rectangle as in most of the other chassis.

Anyone have a guess???

why does that chassis have 6 cells on the right side? did they countersunk the holes on the wrong side of the chassis?

Really? I had heard that Aussie oval was clockwise. Huh.

That is odd tho! Never seen one with the 6 on the right side

well, entirely possible, however the tracks I raced on were counter clockwise
(US tracks are counter, weight on the left side of the car)
