Hmm... well, they solved one of my beefs (price and feature bloat). Now, how about offering kits, or at least no-electronics versions?

its kinda a kit .. any car without bearings you need to take apart put in bearings and build again   . really its 2013 rtr without bearings i wish i had 3 hands so i could give this 3 thumbs down. .. all in all good idea making cheaper rcs.. if they did full bearings and a better radio id really like this rc..

I can't believe the resurrected the name either.

I wonder what the sales plan is, a better step-up from toy to hobby grade or just another tier?
I miss brushed motors in that hazy, everything seemed better when I was a kid, kind of way.

Prolly something in between... Jim is a pretty good marketer anyway as we should all know by now, he must have thought this over and over.

Still, this is shocking

this under $150 price point is great(still too much for no bearings and a crappy radio but better then $220). trying to get someone into rc with a 25 year old stampede with a monster jam body and a am radio for $220 is a joke.. duratrax has been selling rtr truck with am radio for $130 and one with a 2.4 radio for $170. money is tight ,prices need to go down if they want to make sales.
