Hi, joining because I have a mid to late 80's Gold Tub that I've brought back from the dead and love the resourcefulness of this forum RC10 Forever!

So I'm sitting at my desk today, doing my thing...one of the guys comes in and drops this on my desk and says, Hey, do you know anything about this thing? You like those RC cars, right?

The guy knows NOTHING about RC cars other than he bought his 12yr old son an HPI Blitz to bash around the house with.
Someone gave this to him and his son and he brought it in to me because, It goes full blast forward...

I am getting back into the fun and resurrecting an old Gold Pan! It's nearly brand new and never run. I have been out of the game for so long that I have simple questions but I cannot find the answers on the forum.

1. Are you just using servo tape...

I won this on E-bay a couple of weeks ago. Even though the seller claimed it had a stealth trans you could tell by the fuzzy pics that it didn't. I got it for a decent price so that didn't bother me. I would like some help identifying the body...

Hello, this is my gold RC10. I bought it used but in very good shape, I only buy a few parts to get it as nice as possible without spending too much money.

I know it's not the perfect one, but I really like it.

The original 6010 RC10 looks like that, but mine is not very original :the chassis is a later C version (brighter yellow color and drilled for the stealth tranny) and a few parts are from a Championship edition.

i ran my rc10 once at washtenaw r/c in ann arbor. it is basically a barn that is used for r/c all winter long. i'd like to run b4 wheels and run it more often, was prob the most fun to race.

Any body have experience doing this? I'm getting going on doing some DIY anodizing. As I was prepping the tub (put it on a reference plate) I noticed that it is seriously out of flat. About 3/8 over the length if I hold one end down.

Hi guys, got a few qtns to bother you. I've recieved a gold tub with lots of holes drilled for weight lightening. The worst thing is that the chassis is slightly bend upward. Any way to straighten the chassis. Also, any ideas to fill the holes like...
