Team (tub) car part 2
With almost all the parts to build a late team car, either a black/white, or an all black, and I'm leaning towards an all black, would anyone know what an all black team would have used for "correct" tires. ATM I have a rear set of #6823, that I was going to use on the white/black version, but if I do go with the all black, would these still have been used. Also if it were an all black, would #6873 front still have been used, or were they using prolines by that time, #8015, #8016?

Re: Team (tub) car part 2
I should also mention, the reason why I'm calling this a "part 2 build" is because I recently finished a mid generation team car, and had changed direction on that build, so some of those parts that never made it to the finished product, will now be used on this build. I hope you will enjoy it as it progresses.

Re: Team (tub) car part 2
The foundation for this build will be C-stamped chassis, Thank you Brain. This was the original chassis that I started off using on my first team but never made it to the final product. And one of gomachv's minty motor plates.

I have never figured out how you guys have time to take pics, I don't even think I breathe when I am building a minty kit!

Re: Team (tub) car part 2
Thanks Jeff
At first I had no plans to post this build, but I thought others might like to see it, and pump some more vintage stuff into the forum, not that it needs it, but it couldn't hurt

Re: Team (tub) car part 2
I have a question. I have decided to do a white car, with black arms, and will be using a white "worlds" rear bulk head. What would be the stock ball stud location, under the wing mount (like older cars), or in the new location, (like on the Worlds car), one hole over. Thanks.

I don't know either - and I've SEEN his collection. I would be jamming everything into those cars to get them running right away. That's the best part for me - seeing the built up creation wreaking havoc on the streetintegra22t wrote:

I have one quasi-shelfer body that I made for my Sand Scorcher that I'm afraid to run because its so nice but I'm sure at some point, I'll just cave and go drive that around too.
