b4 king pins

b4 king pins
im looking at a picture of these on AE exploded view and it looks as if these king pins (asc9622) require screws(asc9645) in the end of them to secure them. Is this correct or is that screw in their diagram for something else.

The screw hold the pin is place. part of the head of the screw cover the pins holding it in.
