I am strolling down memory lane here and it's great!!
My first car almost 30 years ago was a Tamiya hornet. Then I bought an optima with my own money I earned from mowing lawns.
Finally I bought a Blue Bird Athena. I found the box in my old bedroom at my parents. It was gas powered 1/8 scale. Anyone remember these? It was sort of a copy from the Kyosho Vanning I think.
