I heard that on the radio a few days ago. Crazy!

I like the one where May admits to being blind drunk at the time and doesn't remember it lol

Hmm. In another interview May says he wasn't there when it happened: http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-31834058
Seems like the press is blowing it up worse than it is because of Clarkson's past problems. The producer that was involved tweeted that there was no punch.
This is funny too...allegedly Anonymous threatened a DoS attack and the BBC site was actually down for a little while: http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/bbc-website-down-jeremy-clarkson-5333088

It's been everywhere here all week. They arrived back at the hotel late at night and Clarkson demanded steak to eat. The chef had already gone home, so they were offered a cold platter instead. Allegedly this led to a half an hour offensive tirade directed at the producer and ended with Clarkson punching him in the face. Not surprisingly he's ended up suspended until an investigation is done to find out exactly what happened.
Of course a bunch of idiots are signing petitions to have him reinstated, even though he hasn't been sacked yet as the BBC haven't got all the facts. If it proves to be true I'm sure all those complaining about it would also be the first to shout if a work colleague smacked them in the face for no reason.

A note of importance is that the producer did not actually make a complaint, Clarkson reported it by himself.terry.sc wrote:It's been everywhere here all week. I like the idea of him having a show on Netflix. Would just need to bring James May on board to be successful. Hammond is alright too but I wouldn't miss him if he wasn't there.
Read another article saying that Clarkson's fate hasn't been decided yet and him getting sacked is just a rumor/hoax.

Yup, and May's response sounds like he's thinking about walking too.

Though more money is always a mind changer. I could see Hammond staying if he were offered the captain's chair but I don't see May tolerating Richard as the leader for too long before they have their own fracas.

Re: Wondering why there's no Top Gear episode this week?
I doubt Richard and James would continue without Jeremy. The 3 of them were a perfect dynamic that can't be replicated without Jeremy, or with a replacement host. If they tried to give it a go without Jeremy, it wouldn't be the same and wouldn't last more than a season or two. In this case I'd say its better to burn out than fade away.
...or all of this could be a publicity stunt to drive up interest in the show. Imagine the viewer numbers if they returned after this!
