Vintage Racing! From accross the pond!

Post by MOmo »

Thought this might be of some interest to those who race (like myself) and those who think the classics belong on a shelf! Nice to see the vintage love still out there.
(Im still waiting on pics from my vintage race.)

The old school magazines are a nice touch. Ya that charger does look pretty cool... very Futaba CDR5000ish

Are you subtly giving the photographer the finger?

Either that or he is drawing attention to the Xfactory shirt

But I am going with your thoughts on this one.
He's an idiot. Comes from upbringing. His parents are probably idiots too.

I guess Northy is the poorly shaved young lad on the right (with the Schumacher shirt). The one with the X-Factory shirt holding the Pro-Cat could be Chris Long ...

Northy? :?:

Yeah that's me sat down with the old skool Schumacher jumper on, and btw, that's actually fairly clean shaven for me!

Chris is holding the ProCat and was trying to start a rumour about a new X-Factory 4wd.......

it could just be an old pic then? :D

I really miss racing off road indoors in games halls. They just don't want to do it here, saying it's not off road unless it's on dirt !! Don't know what they are missing.

Yeh, they are old pics about a year old.

I'm still using the ProCat in this years vintage series though, with a few upgrades (ballraced steering, ali Z bracket, 19 turn motor, lipo once..). So far I have tq'ed and won the first two rounds of the series with it. I am now being pushed by my mate with a very nice Cat XLS though 8)

Your soooooo lucky having indoor dirt venues, we just can't make them pay here in the uk :(

HI all.....

The two Rc10's are my babies!!! The first picture is the car i drove for the championship and the second I lent to Dan Greenwood of X-factory...

Don't worry though the cars are made up from my spare parts... All the good parts are on my shelf queens!!!

Hope you enjoy the pics, we're currently on round 3 of this years championship.... RC10's still going strong, but for this year we've been alowed to run 19t spec motors, the cars are actually quite fast!!! Often swapping times with the moderen cars

Will post some more pics after the next round..

JIm :D
