You don't need much to restore it to original condition:
- gold bottom load shocks all around (.32 rear and .56 front)
- front shock tower with 5 holes
- white battery cup
- white trans brace with 4 holes
- TQ rims at four corners (2.0 rear and 2.1 front)
- replace purple shock nuts with stock ones
- replace front plastic wheel nut with a metal one
- replace rear alloy wheel nut with a bare metal one
- Body should be a Protech II (you have a TQ10 Sidewinder right now)

Those are AE shocks just off the better team car.. I would just give it a once over an run it as is or shelf her like that with race mods done.. You can still get the original graphite manual direct from team associated to download then you can decide if it's gonna be worth it.. Period parts are ebay or similar an can be expensive, though you can use some re release parts if you were not fussed about a true nut an bolt original rebuild.. Good luck mate...

Pffft, man, I think it looks frickin awesome just the way it is. Especially with that body. If it were me, I'd leave it alone. But then again, I'm the kind of guy who likes to see things in their "last run" condition, as I think there's more of a story to tell.
I have an A-stamp gold pan car from around 84-85, but it didn't have a body. I did a box art painted body for it, but left everything inside alone. So it still has the original speed control, the linkages the guy ran, stuff like that. He has mismatched wheels, so I went with stockers for wheels and tires. But when you remove the body, it's like a time capsule inside.
