B4 parts interchange
Hey guys I'm wondering what parts will interchange between a stealth trans RC10 and a B4.1 buggy. Besides the shocks/wheels/tires/top shaft/clutch
I am wanting to put B4 lightweight outdrives in my RC10 stealth trans..

Re: B4 parts interchange
Without aftermarket shock towers, the front shocks are too long and the rears are too short for an rc10. The wheels aren't compatible either without longer front axles and widening the rear track width through whatever means necessary (wide hubs, longer arms, longer cvd's, etc.).
Re: B4 parts interchange
I see on the outdrives.. I retro fitted a pair of B4 rear aluminum hub carriers on my RC10 and am trying to find CVD's that will work as well. I tried B4's and they're about 1/8" to long, someone on Facebook said to try B5 standard CVD's as they're shorter than B4's. I seen why they are as well after searching for them..
As for B4 shocks there is a fella on eBay making 3mm thick carbon fiber shock towers to swap B4/B5 shocks

Re: B4 parts interchange
Here is what I came up with - drill the carrier with an 1/8" bit, file fit the pin. No other mods needed it will bolt on - thanks to a B2 thread I found AE 9760 B44 dog bones appear to be 61mm pin to pin, the World's are 54mm, and B4's are 65mm
Now on to turnbuckles LOL I'm sure that will be 10x easier though!

Can you post a pic of what you are working on? Always makes it easier for me to understand!

B4 Team aluminum carriers on my 17.5 RC10 build, it has B4 CVD's in it now..
Also found out the stock camber turnbuckle will work as well in the outer holes on the World's bulkhead BUT to use the inner holes, you need another pair of front camber turnbuckles, which is the route I plan to go..

Re: B4 parts interchange
Don't forget the front caster blocks, and then the B4 axles and all will fit right on. The only caveat is to drill out the hinge pin holes ever so slightly so the pin fits.
