Prototype RC10 Ad

Post by asashaw »

Check this out, it came with an old Edinger edition I picked up for the Goodyears. I hope the pictures come out big, I am just learning to use my scanner. Read the section on the shocks... I guess they decided to change the design. Really cool pictures here, single bellcrank, shock towers, etc. Enjoy! Anyone have anything else like this?

Very nice find Asa; check out the rear bulkhead and strut too, I never saw those on any other prototype... I would love to see the same picture in color 8)

That servo position and the single steering crank would be a good idea for the shortened scorcher builders here.
thanks for posting the scan

It's pretty good, but you might try to take the scan down one level as it's a little bigger than a 19" monitor in my case. Still an awesome find (I saved a copy).

Now we need to have a discussion about this particular car. What's up with the throttle servo on the RH side that's not connected to anything? :?

it doesn't look like that there are any nose tubes connecting the front skid plate to the chassis. I don't know what kind of rear tires those are, but I have a new pair that'll probably put on my next build.

There are some pics of the nose tube-less RC10 prototype in this article aswell. Just looks like it has different rear shocks. http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3834
