Can someone give me info on this rc10?
I just recently got handed an rc10 car. From my own research it seems to be a World's car? I have no clue about these things.. I did notice though that what I read on team associates website, actually might have been another site I'm not sure.. explaining the difference in the older and newer ones. This one that I have has all black parts, and the one I saw had a lot of white parts and it said the all black are rare. I don't know if I'm correct or not, but I figured I would ask on here and hopefully you knowlagable people can help! I think we are going to keep it because we've been having a lot of fun with it, but I was curious about the value of it too. Anyone? Thanks in advance!

Might as well ask since someone is going to. Can you post some body off shots?

Can anyone give me info on this car!?
I recently was handed this rc10 car. I've tried to do research on it, and from what I've found I'm pretty sure it's a world's car.. whether it's an early or late model I can't figure it out. I didn't post any pictures of the inside, but if anyone needs them to give me some info on it I can send them. Trying to figure out if there's any value to it although, we have been having a lot of fun with it!! Thanks in advance for any info anyone can give me!

It's a late Worlds car.
As for value, check completed listings on ebay for cars of similar condition.

Nice car and welcome to 10Talk.
Please don't double post though, asking your question in one place is sufficient

Nice looking car. Have fun with it. But also know depending on the condition it could be fairly collectible. A lot of times people dyed the original white parts black so that all the parts in the kit matched. If its really clean and not scratched up on the pan you may be better selling it for a few hundred dollars and getting a new modern kit to have fun with. I’m not much for putting them on a shelf but there are guys out there that will pay to restore that and set it aside.

I agree, which is why both identical topics have been merged into a single one.

Looks legit; correct arms, towers, tub, etc. A vintage worlds car and very collectible.

I think you're right. I'm sure if I found the right buyer I'd be better off selling it and buying a new one. It's hard looking at it and not playing with it. It's actually in really good shape. A few scratches on the front and back bottom but really not too deep or too many.

Where would you recommend as far as selling? I have literally no clue where to go with it if it's that collectable I don't just want to sell it to anyone. I like it too much lol. Won't be playing with it anymore knowing this. Do you have a site that talks about it being collectable?

I dunno, I reckon I would just post it on ebay and list it as an RC10 vintage worlds car.

I've tried finding it on eBay and I can't. What exactly would you recommend typing in the search engine to find one exactly like this? I must not be wording it correctly?

I may try it. I've been trying to find others like it to figure out it's actual value but I don't think I'm wording it correctly because I am not seeing any like it.

BTW, Since it's not new in box, I think it's fine to run it but I would be careful and avoid bashing into curbs and such. Also, if you really like the car then keep it and buy a cheap old B4 or something from ebay to run in the yard. That's what I and at least one other member here did recently. Parts for B4 are available and relatively inexpensive.
