Looking for a lexan molder to make some JRX-pro bodies???

Post by Brandon G »

Ok, I am not looking to buy a lexan molder, I am looking for someone who has one that I could send a mold to and have some of these bodies made.

I have a new JRX-pro clear unpainted body, and just got a 50lb bag of ultracal 30. Ready to make a mold.

All I need now is someone to send it to to start making these suckers.

It would be very nice to get ahold of a couple repro pro bodies. I'd even buy any "seconds" or blems as you get the mold/process sorted, anything has to be better than the bodies I've been coming across via ebay buys.
A jrx-2 repro would be equally as sweet.

i have 2 jrx2 bodies used and cut, but with some clay, time, and a hell of a lot of patchwork, i will make em work somehow lol. i think im looking at $15.00 a body probably after all said and done.

working on some undertrays tommorow since i dont need a mold for them, and they will fit like a glove then.

fifteen bucks? dude dont sell 'em that cheap...

maybe 15 for an undertray, but for a custom molded body i'd charge at LEAST 30 bucks.

undertrays are a killer idea. there are alot of buggies i wouldnt mind running if i didnt have to worry about scratching the bottom.

I'd be in for some Losi bodies also.

looks like you got a hard time concentrating on one project Mike ;) which is apparently a common problem (looking sideways at my desk).

Once someone is up and running, drop me a note and some pics: I have 2 uncut bodies I'm keeping in the bag ready for you guys.
The deal is simple: you can use the body to make a mould, I get the original back and 2 repros of this or another shell you do.

.....hey JK, is this truck a body that was produced by Losi?..was it included in a kit?...or was it an option body?........I remember seeing one in RCCA years ago and thought they looked sweet on a buggy chassis with the more "scale" buggy tires than the larger "truck" tires.....Can this body be found anywhere????
