Mabuchi S motor
I picked up a hirobo rockn city and the manual says it was fitted with a mabuchi S motor. If it's the one on the chassis it has a red end cap

Re: Mabuchi S motor
A standard RS-540S was 27 turns of .65mm wire. Those would have typically had a black or beige endbell though. I don’t recall which my Zerda has. The only Red endbell I only remember was from Tamiya, the RS-540SD Black sprint motor. They were 23t
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Re: Mabuchi S motor
Thanks, possibly it's been switched during its history. The can is black/gunmetal colour. I wonder if there's a resistance test or measure for 540 motors. Back to search I suppose

Re: Mabuchi S motor
I found some pics on Google, could be a tamiya 540sd but the label is gone.
I don't know whether that's good, bad, indifferent
