Rory Cull Hotshot

Post by dinglem »

OK, so i have had this for quite some time but having contacted Rory's parents who sold the car they have said they are happy for me to post up some pictures of it. Rory was a very very successful racer back in the late 80's and early 90's and won the Radio Race Car Series with this very car back in 1986. I have quite a number of magazine race reviews featuring this very car. It came with his original shell, complete with his sponsor (Malvern Models) stickers still intact. It is also his Demon motor and i have his Demon ProKing forward-only esc and Futaba 131 servo. This is a really great find and I love having it in my collection. It has a shortened main chassis, and hence a shortened main drive shaft which was braised by his father, as well as a TMS swb Hotshot bodyshell.

Cool car!

I tried to get in touch with Rory on FB when I was building the replica of his 91 Euros rc10, but he never replied back.
