Basic RC cleaner spray recommendations
Is there a cheaper option for cleaning residue, dirt in dog bones, oil and dirt in suspension shock bodies and caps, inside old school brushed motors commutator, brushes, cleaning bearing etc.
Is the Tamiya RC cleaner spray basically brake cleaner spray? Stuff seems to smell the same from my distant recollection. What do you all use for a basic RC cleaning spray?

Re: Basic RC cleaner spray recommendations
These are great for removing waxy grease, oils, and whatnot. The QD is almost identical to the MAFS cleaner although it does dry more quickly. Both safe on plastics. I know brake cleaner is not all that great for rubber and will melt some plastics, ABS in particular.
Hope you're doin' something fun.

Re: Basic RC cleaner spray recommendations
I use the QD cleaner as well. Just be sure to get the plastic safe version (most common).
