When it's R/C related, but doesn't fit anyplace else.

Molding some kydex

After getting the chassis finished I’m now looking at making some parts with kydex. I hadn’t used it before so I took a stab at a t2 motor guard.

I did not realize that it was moldable at temperatures low enough to hold and bend by hand.

It shrinks a bit when heated. I’ll have to drill and close fit holes after molding it.

Kydex is easy and fun , you can score it with a Stanley knife then bend along the score to crack it like Lexan .
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.
A problem shared is a problem halved but an advantage shared is no advantage at all.
