Tamiya Grasshopper II "4WD Black Special"

Post by TokyoProf »

This is my 4WD iteration of the Grasshopper II in "Black Special" edition.

The aftermarket shocks which I had laying around were a nice fit, with a level ride height, and plenty of travel.
I little bit more heavy shock oil (currently 45 wt) in the rear and I think this will make for a fun runner.
The insect series from Tamiya are always a fun design to play with.

Body-off drivetrain pic needed. Looks mean.
Hope you're doin' something fun.

Thank you! The body off shows a fairly standard Thundershot chassis. Tamiya sealed ball bearings and an on-road receiver case to keep the dirt out and the ESC in front of the airflow.
