These things are getting hard to find and wondering if anyone has found an alternative?

The STRC SPTST1953X-2 look promising, surely someone has tried?

Have you tried these? They are the MIP parts that fit the CVDs for RC10 through RC10B4 and T through T4.

Are the MIP shiny cvd bones the same as the regular bones except for the finish or is there supposed to be a performance advantage?

There is the standard shiny ones, which I believe is nothing more than the finish. Then there is the shiny aluminum ones, which are obviously different.

this has probably been answered a million times before. i want to change the 1/4 rear axles to 3/16 and i want to install a mip cvd but what do i need to buy? or do they still make them for the old gold pan rc10 buggy? and later on i would like to...

about what year vintage are the yellow packaged MIP CVD's for RC-10. Would they be period corretc for a Team Car?

Yes, they would be period correct. The CVD's came out somewhere between '92-'93 I believe.

hello guys I have a 91 team car with universal axel shafts. I bought some 1195 mip cvds thinking they will work. my uds have 3/16 shafts for the wheel but neck up to 1/4 for the bearing. Can I just replace the hub bearings to fit the 3/16 mip cvds....

Anyone know of one that is 2.5 ? I am doing a build that uses a associated stealth transmission and I need the CVD to be 2.5 . I have a CustomWorks that is 2.75 and a Associated RC10/B2/B3 that is just a tic over 2.25 E2E.

I bought both sets of these from Phil's hobbies on fleabay, about a year apart. I can hardly blame them (too much) because the part #'s and even the UPC's are the same, but notice the description was changed by MIP to remove the shiny term and...

I agree - I had a guy from MIP call me personally to apologize for a part that failed and he sent me a new one from California. They just made me a customer for life.
