OTW10 alternative?

Post by dspl1236 »

Hello all. '97 Inferno 10 owner here. Converted to brushless setup and in need of part.

Trying to find alternatives to the OTW-10 Servo Saver kit. I got a set about a year ago and no longer can find any. Does anyone know an alternative? Aluminum?

Thanks!

You could likely adapt a Factory Works /A&L steering kit. Jeff can speak to when those might come back in stock. With a good metal gear servo you can also get rid of the servo saver. This is assuming you are doing typical vintage running and not sending your Inferno off skate ramps.

our steering kits will be into late january at the earliest. I would look at adapting one from the rere optima mid, they are tough and could likely be adapted without too much trouble

Thank you both. No skate parks for me. Just backyard ripping with dogs in chase.

I will keep on eye on the release and look into the Optima Mid setup. Metal servo was the first to be installed.

The rerelease servo saver will fit, part number OT267 and a pair of 3x6mm flanged bearings for the included centre link.
