There's a lot of choice for contemporary alternatives: the 12 mm hex design is common for most tamiya vehicles and many smaller companies use it also. HPI and kyosho still use it too.
Wwhich region are you in and what size do you look for; original 2.0 or 2.2 modern, kyosho or any brand?

I was just looking at a site of a UK webshop and saw this cheap car.
The wheels are looking good though and probably pretty cheap to get:

Unfortunately those wheels do not appear in the parts stocked on the online shop. Maybe worth giving them a call.

From the picture it looks like those wheels have a fair bit of offset.
Most modern wheels have less offset and will reduce the width of the optima mid (and possibly interfere with the arms)

I barely ever upload pics here anymore: I use my flickr.com account to store the picture: their upload tool automatically reduces the size to their maximum and even puts 2 smaller versions available in the same go. Or in case it's already on another site ; I just link to the picture there.

if you quote the above post in a reply you'll see the code pointing to the picture location; real easy
