Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
Glad to hear it fixed it! So, yours had the mismade shaft, did it also have the binding while spinning the trans? Trying to narrow down the two issues and see if they are linked I do have a mismade shaft, I believe. There is no binding from the slipper plates and the addition of the B4 spacer. I ac...

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
Thanks for the link showing the spacer. However, I have done exactly this and still have an issue. Once tightened, the shim is binding against the bearing and the back of the slipper plate. Ugh. The back of the slipper plate and the bearings inner race are supposed to be spinning at the same time, ...

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
What exactly is the Issue? Slipper rubbing on motor plate? Use a top shaft spacer... Trans feels tight? Tidy up gear on top shaft or just run it an it will free up after cpl runs.. All the info has already been stated many times. http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=33974 http://www.rc1...

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
No nit picking here. I am excited for this latest offering.
Just disappointed in myself for not being able to make my modifications work to the tranny. That is why I am asking for others to show me pics of what mods have been done that works.

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
All those that have issues with the tranny and have made their own solution, would you be so kind as to publish some pictures? I have tried one of the mod's but am having a hard time visualizing it. Please post some pics if you can. As an FYI, I have already tried using a new B4 top shaft that I had...

Issue with my stealth on my Worlds Re Release
Hi guys, I have finally bought a new kit from my local hobby shop today. I have started the build process and immediately ran into a problem with the stealth tranny. The V2 slipper pads are rubbing against the motor plate when tightened down even a little. It is not functional as a result. Anyone el...

I am having a problem with my stealth drive and slipper assembly. The slipper, once tightened, is rubbing the motor plate too much and will not f...

Re: RC10 Team Car Project
Do you run it or is it a shelf queen;) Speaking of shelf queens;), I've almost finished my A-stamp 1984 original Cadi gold tub.all the parts are California correct except for the reproduction body, and the addition of a modern brushed speed controller and battery. Still waiting on a couple of small...

Thanks for the complements.Ducati Mechanic wrote:That really does look great! I'm in the process of restoring a A-stamp and I just purchased a 1990 C-Stamp team car in the box. I'm looking to do something similar to my new team car, street tires, and maybe a world's paint job.
Please share your team car project.

I hear ya there. I have 'runners' that are vintage, but I rarely do run them. I love building and tinkering more than I do running them.romulus22 wrote:I don't run my vintage car so this car wont be ran. I just like to build the cars.

Re: Mid Engine RC10
I was not a big fan of the nitro RC items, but your creation is super cool looking. Very well done. 8) I am anxious though to see how it all plays out on the track. I would assume that the engine placement will have an effect on the car especially on jumps. Do you have any predictions or assumptions...
