Re: Jammin Jay's Prototype RC10 4WD Replica
Well add my name to the list of people that would love to have you make one or perhaps just the nylon/graphite parts with a parts list . I ended up making a ten4 and really enjoyed the car and the build process. PM me if you would be willing to do something like that.

Re: Jammin Jay's Prototype RC10 4WD Replica
I found a couple other photos of the car..... might help with the final details? Btw, would you ever consider selling the custom "fabbed" parts on shapeways?

Re: Ten4: the 4WD RC10 project
So just a few more minor adjustments and I should be ready to hit the local track. You weren't kidding about the front end fitting together like a puzzle. I'm sure I'll have more questions/comments as things progrees. Here's a picture of what I have so far. Thanks again for your efforts. http://s15....

Re: Ten4: the 4WD RC10 project
Well looks like the parts came in early!!!. Thought I would start working on the front gear box. I was curious if we need to bore out the hole( the top) to allow the inner part of the pulley to recess into the gearbox(like the rear gear box)?

Re: Ten4: the 4WD RC10 project
I'm waiting for the parts to arrive , hopefully Tuesday. Then I'll start the fun of building the car. On a side note, have you guys been watching thread about ideas on how to strengthen the shape ways parts. Some people are talking about dipping the parts in a thin CA glue, uv glue, or even a epoxy r...

Re: Ten4: the 4WD RC10 project
Just a thought, once you get it running the way you want. You might consider filling out a spec sheet for reference to your set up.
Hope you have fun at the track.

Re: Ten4 Parts Available!
Parts are ordered!!! Thanks again for your efforts. Just curious if anyone had suggestions on how to tackle the small gap of space where the front of the body ends and the extended nose plate. Does anyone know of an extended body to compensate for the longer configuration? I'm sure I'm not the first...

Re: Ten4: the 4WD RC10 project
Thanks, I wasn't sure if the pulley "flange" went into the gear box or not. I see that larger hole allows for you to push the pulley completely on to the shaft. I was curious if you guys had ever finalized the details about the belt?

Re: Ten4: the 4WD RC10 project
Just curious guys, what size hole are you drilling into the side of the gear box to fit the robinson shaft/pulley hardware? I was also curious how you made the pulley fit onto the shaft in relation to the gear box?

Well you can't rush perfection...:0)

Re: Ten4: the 4WD RC10 project
Just curious about how to order from Robinson Racing, will we need to contact them directly or would we go to one of their retailers. I am waiting for the test fit before order parts ,but I was just curious about how to order the new parts, after using the part numbers and their search engine on the...

Re: Ten4: the 4WD RC10 project
Looks great! Just curious what did you use to extend the front brace bars ( silver portion in picture)? Were those parts store bought or did you cut to fit?

Re: Ten4: the 4WD RC10 project
So how were you guys planning on making the parts available for purchase? I would assume the 3-d printed parts would be through shapeways, but what about the shock mounts?
