Re: Dadio's 3D Printing Stuff
Just finished and fitted the Ishipla Monster chassis , I was not planning on using it but it feels so much stronger than the beaten up original that I think I will , maybe later I'll get one Pro printed.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
I had a silly idea to make a completely indestructible 3d printed RC car mostly made of rubbery TPU with minimum of parts possible .

Re: Dadio's 3D Printing Stuff
Started designing a complete car today , object is to make an indestructible 3d printed car out of mostly TPU . It's to have a minimum of parts , here i have the front suspension printed in only 5 parts . It uses live pivot joints like I think it was the Kyosho Icarus ? 20230711_200633.jpg 20230711_...

Re: Looking For A Flat Black TPU Filament
SO SO SO much better!!
The sheen, the shore, the ease of printing right out of the box! Loving TPE over TPU!
Now I need to design and print the Hilux motor cover that was the main reason of getting this stuff.

Re: The dog thread
we actually used a professional stud male who was supposed to have had genetic testing , it takes both dogs to have the gene for the puppies to be affected , we have spoken with the stud owner and explained this and recommended they stop using him as a stud but they are either ignoring it or not un...

Re: SilverTriple's printing stuff...
I have been resin printing these little replacement pulley covers for Kyosho Optima Belt Drive Conversions. ABS Like black resin. I like them, actually better than originals. some drivetrain comparisons between Samurai and Dolphin
I've seen it mentioned that the drivetrain of the Aristocraft Dolphin is compatible with the Samurai. Since I am currently rebuilding a Samurai and needed a few things I ordered a Dolphin gear set and front diff. I'll keep the Dolphin parts on the right and Samurai on the left First thing I found is...

Re: some drivetrain comparisons between Samurai and Dolphin
I'd say no, while very similar there are some differences including where the sprues attach. They are very well copied though, just adjusting for their own design like the offset of the front diff.

Re: Big Bear Resurrection
It's been a minute but finally found time to sit down and finish painting the body. So, I'm gonna ask for some opinions. I don't know if I want to put on the decals (got a set or repros from MCI). Thoughts? Other than that, it's done. Stock motor with a Futaba MC210 ESC from back in the day and a ra...

Spaceframe Chassis for Hotshot
Hello all, I'd like to present my new Spaceframe Chassis for the Hotshot series. It's a very old project, started in 2019, but actually I always had this in mind since the Hotshot was released in 1985... I love the Hotshot but its bathtub chassis was a bit dull compared to the futuristic and sexy Fr...

Re: Spaceframe Chassis for Hotshot
The tricky part: assembling the front gearbox. 1. insert the propeller shaft onto either side gearbox (front or rear) IMG_4739_resize.JPG 2. slide the shaft through the centerframe IMG_4740_resize.JPG 3. simply insert the front gearbox into the frame (R) Be careful not to crush the tip of the frame ...
