parts help
hi all,
going to order a pair of nose brace for a RC10 tub chassis from towerhobbies and while I was there I thought to get some other spares as well to make the shipping cost worthwhile (non-US resident).
Here's the list...
LX2774 Associated Team Nose Brace Tubes Black (2)
LX2557 Associated Rear Hub Carrier 1.5 Degree (2)
L5251303 Associated Front Block Carrier 30 Degree (2) NOTE: Each "Quantity" of one reflects shipment quantity of 3 units. Also, "Price Each" reflects price for each quantity of 3 .
LX2512 Associated Front Suspension Mount (2)
LX2554 Associated Rear A-Arm (2)
LXGAF4 RPM Front A-Arms RC10 (2)
are there anything I should add or take away from this list? I couldn't find a converter for 2.2" wheels rear and front though. Which reminds me, stub axle, do I need extra or should I be looking at the inline ones for 2.2" wheels? TIA for suggestions.

Re: parts help
for a rc10 converted to 2.2, the axle type doesn't matter for the front, but it will in the rear--you will need a 3/16" rear CVD set (b2/b3) AND look for some 2.2 B3 wheels--the B4 has a different offset front and rear

Re: parts help
that was quick! Will I need either new bearings and/or new b2/b3 rear hub carriers to go with the CVDs as well? Thanks.

Re: parts help
Bearings will be 3/16" X 5/8" (x 4) non flanged, and yes you will need the 10t/b2/b3 style rear hub carriers--they should also be avail

Re: parts help
thanks, don't need this (LX2557 Associated Rear Hub Carrier 1.5 Degree (2)) anymoreCharlie don't surf wrote:Bearings will be 3/16" X 5/8" (x 4) non flanged, and yes you will need the 10t/b2/b3 style rear hub carriers--they should also be avail
just converting to more a available platform for tyres and stocking some bits that will inevitably be broken thanks to my clumsy driving.littleVETTE wrote:what are you building? or are you just stocking up on parts?
(and gosh, I have somehow reached the magic 25 post. Maybe I can qualify for the buy/sell forums to search for bits too...quickly sending his application off)

Should be 3/16" x 3/8". B3 rear carriers are not suitable...Charlie don't surf wrote:Bearings will be 3/16" X 5/8" (x 4) non flanged, and yes you will need the 10t/b2/b3 style rear hub carriers--they should also be avail
C'mon Reg!

Re: parts help
Yeah B3 and T3 are the same, the pin hole is offset more to the outside than the 10T/GT/T2/B2 one.
